Aircargo Italia srl was established in 1994, grouping together the previous independent societies of Aircargo Florence, Aircargo Milan and Aircargo Rome.
Two main directions came from the Management:
- Open the Company offices in all important areas for air transport
- Employ high quality personnel with huge experience to give to the Company a great start up

Our history and milestones
Aircargo Italia became an independent Company in April 1994, when the present share holders grouped together the Aircargo offices of Milan, Florence and Rome under the new name of Aircargo Italia srl, thus obtaining full ownership of the new organization.
From the beginning the new owners understood the importance of locating company branches in each region where the cargo business is produced and forwarded, creating a comprehensive net of offices working in continous contact, monitoring the most important traffics and offering integrated solutions to the Customers
Progressively Aircargo Italia opened its own offices in Florence, Milan downtown, Milan Malpensa, Rome Fiumicino, Bologna and Venice.

Since 1996, Aircargo Italia has operated as Handling Agent of Airlines, through dedicated offices in Rome Fiumicino, Milan Malpensa, Bologna and Venice serving for Documental Handling,ULD building Control, supervision of loading, import and export operations and security control.
In the year 2000 Aircargo Italia won the BEST ITALIAN GSSA AWARD and in the following years it was almost always voted among the first three Italian GSSA.

This wide presence in the market and this strong engagement gave to Aircargo Italia the chance to acquire relevant GSSA partners such as Martinair, US Airways,, Air Cargo Germany, Pegasus, Neos, pakistan Airlines, Aeroflot, Meridiana, Air Italy and Avianca.
With this solid structure Aircargo Italia was in the position to respond to the expectations of its Principals, penetrating the network of the global cargo market, creating a considerable portfolio of loyal Customers and a huge market for the represented Airlines.
